What I'm Still Doing

Got this from weevilwoman

Still amazed: at the miracle of life...how does something so cute and perfect come from a tiny egg and sperm....God is AMAZING!

Still getting used to: country life....it's really not for me!

Still loving: my wonderful family

Still proud of: of my new oven and newly painted kitchen

Still not proud of: my yard....4 acres is way too much yard to take care of

Still hoping: to be a stay-at-home-mom

Still worried: about the details of being a stay-at-home-mom

Still never going to: smoke

Still pretending: ??

Still reading: the Bible, daily devotionals, Max Lucado's 3:16

Still wanting to read: don't really like to read, ??

Still interested in: God, cooking, scrapbook, shopping

Still not interested in: drugs, cigarettes, alcohol

Still looking forward to: to seeing my loved ones in Heaven someday

Still not looking forward to: Spring Break (because we don't have a full WEEK this year....it will be HORRIBLE!)

Still failing: at keeping a 'clutter-free' house

Still grateful for: God, family, friends

Still praying: for my sister to become a Mom someday; all of my family/friends; my husband's safety in his daily flights; my students; the list goes on and on.......

Still not believing: that it's safer to fly than drive (sorry, dear!)

Still believing in: God and Santa (Mom has always told us that once we stop believing in Santa, we would stop getting things from Santa!)

What are YOU still doing?

The one that surprised me was that you don't enjoy the country life. You seem so at peace and happy no matter what comes your way. I'm always impressed.

4 acres is way to much to take care of, especially with three kids, jobs, numerous activities, and busy husbands. There is no time.

I to am not completely happy with country living.

The kids (especialy B) and I would like to move to town. The driving back & forth, back & forth, back & forth-it kills me.

We need a trip (just the girls) to a nice restaurant, get some good coffee (or whatever), do some serious shopping, and indulge in some decadent dessert! Doesn't that sound great?

So, are you spending all that leisure time in Corpus READING blogs and not WRITING on yours?

Maybe this weekend I'll do "What I'm Still Doing"

Miss you! Come home!
