December

December was hectic to say the least. I was busy at work preparing my students for the Christmas Program. At church I was busy preparing for the children's Christmas Program. Needless to say, the kids at each performance did GREAT! If you haven't figured me out yet, everything I'm ever in charge of will always be, "Short, Sweet, and to the point!!!" After those two events were checked off my list, I could finally relax and enjoy the Christmas season.

My sisters and I got together at my house the weekend of Dec. 13 and did our annual holiday baking. I won't go into details as to why we do this every year, but if you want to know the 'why', go back and read my Dec. post from 2007.

Throughout the next few weeks our family participated in the 'Christmas Marathon'. We rushed around, drove around and had Christmas with our wonderful families. I will be posting pictures of the Marathon soon.

The last week of Dec. we went to Ruidoso, NM to relax! We had lots of fun playing in the snow, watching football Bowl games in our relaxing cabin and sitting in our hot tub watching the deer graze in our yard! Pictures of this trip will be posted in the future too!
